Jessica Nguyen is the owner and artist of Portland Beauty Care-PBC. A lifelong artist and craftsperson, she has always worked with her hands, eyes, and passion for innovation. Growing up in Saigon the most modern and crowded city in Vietnam, she had attended two famous universities at the same time and also joined the Sunday music club that engaged her art besides the study time. Coming to Portland, Oregon as a first place in US, Jessica had to begin all again from the bottom levels starting at Portland Community College to overcome her English as a second language. With all the efforts to be able to survive along with her wish to help people, she had chosen Diagnostic Medical Sonography as her 4 years major and successfully graduated in the last year externship from Cedar Sinai Medical Center in Beverly, Los Angeles. Also with her hard work and great heart she had win the job there from other student competitions. Amazingly, her destiny has pulled her back to Oregon as part of her marriage life where she married to her husband and produced two wonderful children. Working in the medical field here for 15 years, Jessica not only had an opportunity to serve the critical healthcare community, but also learn a great vast deals from kindly colleagues, wonderful coworkers to genius doctors and radiologists of all sharp skills and intelligent decision makings. However, genetically was born in an artistically family always made Jessica likes to go beyond of what the hospital setting allows. She likes to go back to Beauty field so that she can continue to create and inspire people. Nowadays, Jessica is still capable successful with her business firstly named by “Lashes Plus by Jessica”, established in 2012 and also currently replaced by as Portland Beauty Care, LLC in 2017. This business’ name is a mark of her destiny completely belongs to Portland, Beauty is her instinctively inspiration and Care as her always warm and helpful heart. With so many professional beauty trends that Jessica has adapted in the last 10 years, she still continue invest in all the top beauty technologies in order to bring back all the best skills to carry her simple statement: BEST CARE FOR THE BEST YOU!
